SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Please run the component checker to determine whether or not you have the correct software installed.
Also, check out our FAQ for common problems.

Windows Media Player

Get Windows Media Player   You will need Windows Media Player 6.4 or above for the audio to play. All computers from Windows 98SE onwards (incl. Windows 2000/XP) already have this installed however if you do not have it, please get it from here http://www.windowsmedia.com/download.
Browser
Get Microsoft Internet Explorer   You will need Internet Explorer 5 or above to view the web pages for this event. Again, this is pre-installed on any Windows PC since Windows 98SE (incl. Windows 2000/XP) however if you do not have it, please get it from here http://www.microsoft.com/ie/.
Hardware
You will obviously also need a sound card and speakers. Most PC’s have this capability. If you are unsure, please ask your system administrator.

Display
You will need a screen size of at least 800 x 600. If you have not, you can reset this by right-clicking on your desktop and selecting properties. This will open “Display Properties”. Go to the “Settings” tab and move the slider in the bottom right along to the right to 800 x 600.

Firewalls
If you are on a corporate LAN, you will most likely be behind a firewall (a device which forbids certain traffic from entering the network). Usually this is not a problem as our software can send the audio the same way that web pages are delivered however some companies prefer to block this from happening. In short, you need to configure Windows Media Player to allow access over HTTP. If you are experiencing problems related to this, please contact your system administrator. Feel free to pass on our details to them so we can help troubleshoot the problems.
