The Lord Chief Justice - 2007 Interview

In April 2006, in the run up to major constitutional changes which ensure judicial independence, The Lord Chief Justice, Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers was interviewed for this website by Marcel Berlins.

One year on we invited Marcel Berlins back to interview Lord Phillips once again. In his latest interview Lord Phillips answers questions on a wide range of topics including sentencing, judicial accountability and the judiciary's relationship with government.
